Biography: Xuebin Wang is a research scientist in the Department of Energy, Environmental, and Chemical Engineering (2015.12-2017.12), sponsored by China Postdoctoral Foundation and Prof. Richard Axelbaum.
Dr. Wang obtained his B.S. and Ph.D. degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2006 and 2012, and then was appointed as an assistant professor in Xi’an Jiaotong University. Since 2015.4, he has served as the Associate Professor in the School of Energy and Power Engineering, Department of Thermal Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University.
He has 50+ peer-reviewed journal publications, 10+ patents, and 30+ conference papers.
Research: Professor Wang‘s research interests are on the fundamentals in solid combustion process, including: biomass/coal combustion and co-firing, ash chemistry and deposition, SOx/NOx, fine particle emission, reaction kinetics. His current research focuses on the gas/particle emission and control in oxy-fuel combustion under elevated pressure conditions.
